On arrival to Westport the first thing you will experience is the mystical backdrop of Ireland’s most famous mountain, Croagh Patrick (‘the Reek’). The terrain of the National Coastal Trail consists of the designated walking/cycling Greenway and designated cycle /walkway lanes which will take you from Westport to Westport Quay and onwards to Murrisk and Croagh Patrick.
